Handmade sugar scrub

Every year my friends and I always give each other handmade gifts. I thought we have already done everything what I can imagine. So it's always difficult to come up with something new. This year I found a great idea about the sugar scrub. It is very easy to do, and almost all of the ingredients can be found at home. I did a lavender body scrub with and a lemon hand scrub. I want to share with you the recipe and show what I got.

 Каждый год мы с подругами всегда дарим подарки, сделанные своими руками. Мы передарили уже все что только можно, поэтому всегда сложно придумать что-то новое.  В этом году я нашла отличную идею про сахарный скраб. Он делается очень легко, и практически все ингридиенты можно найти дома. Я сделала скраб для тела с запахом лаванды и лимонный скраб для рук. Хочу поделиться с вами рецептом и показать что у меня получилось.

1. Body scrub

- Sugar - 1 cup

- Sea salt - 10 spoons 

- Olive oil - 15 spoons

- Lavender essential oil (or any other) - 5 drops

Mix all ingredients. The quantity of ingredients may vary. It is necessary to obtain a thick mass, but that when you push on it with a spoon, it should a small layer of oil. This quantity was enough for me for two jars. Then just give the mass in a nice jar (I bought them at Depot, but you can use any jar) and it’s ready. Use this scrub in the shower, rub it into the skin and then wash off.  

Все перемешивается. Количество может отличаться, надо чтобы получилась густая масса, но чтобы при нажатии на нее ложкой образовывался небольшой слой масла. Этого количества мне хватило на две банки. Потом просто остается красиво упаковать получившуюся массу в баночку (я покупала в Depot, но подойдет любая баночка для варенья) и готово. Во время душа втирайте в кожу, а потом смойте. 

2. Lemon hand scrub

- Sugar - 1 cup

- Olive oil - 10 spoons

- Lemon juice - 3-5 spoons

- Lemongrass essential oil - 5 drops

Mix the ingredients as before. I did not add the sea salt, so this hand scrub was tenderer than for the body. Again, give the mass in a nice jar and it is ready to use. This quantity is enough for 4 small jars. 

Перемешивается точно также. Я не добавляла морскую соль, поэтому скраб получился более нежным, чем для тела. Опять же, все это упаковывается в баночку и готово к использованию. Этого количества мне хватило на 4 маленьких баночки.
