We decided to go to Venice by the boat. As I saw these houses middle in the water, it took my breath away. There is no second city like Venice, it is so beautiful and extraordinary. Within the city there was less water than I expected. Some channels, but otherwise a lot of narrow streets, like in a typical italian town.
I was surprised that houses looked dilapidated, somehow carelessly, but it has a certain charm. And a clothes drying on lines, everywhere!!! But I think it is so in all warm countries.
